The letters are the factory (e.g. SD/FL = USA, AR/RI/SR = France, CA/LO/MB = Spain). From 2007 on, digits 1 & 3 are the week, digits 2 & 4 are the year — so 'SD2168' = week 28 of 2016, made in the USA.
