Work through every row. No single line is proof on its own — counterfeiters fix the famous tells first — but the more boxes that fail, the more confident you can be.

Format: Pre-2021 Chanel bags have a holographic serial sticker inside (often under the flap or in a pocket) showing a serial number, paired with an authenticity card whose number MATCHES the sticker. The hologram shifts/scratches and repeats 'CHANEL'. The serial's leading digit(s) roughly date the bag by production series.
